"Calvin and his Gibson Guitar"

—Sculpted
on the occasion of my father’s 90th birthday, Calvin
and his Gibson Guitar will be a limited edition of 36 sculptures in
bronze. He was playing his pre-war Gibson accoustic guitar that he played
for about 50 years. The chair he sits (not pictured here) on will
also be vintage--a Metalform desk chair from the 50’s. This year he will
be 94, but has the strength of a young weightlifter, and still plays
guitar “for the old folks”.
